Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of DotMac internet services and the DotMac Self-Care app and web portal, provided by Dotmac Technologies, 8 Ikot Ekpene Close, Area 11, Garki, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria ("DotMac", "we"). By using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You are responsible for the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us of any unauthorised use. You must be 18 or older to hold an account.

2. Service

We provide internet connectivity and related services subject to coverage, feasibility, and your chosen plan. Service levels, speeds, and fair-use limits are described in your plan.

3. Billing & payment

  • Plans are billed as prepaid (pay in advance / top up a wallet) or postpaid (invoiced per cycle), as shown on your account.
  • You can pay by card (via Paystack or Flutterwave), saved card, or bank transfer with receipt upload.
  • Prepaid balances are drawn down as you use the service. Postpaid invoices are due by the date shown.
  • We may suspend or restrict service for non-payment or a negative balance, and restore it on payment.

4. Acceptable use

Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend service for violations.

5. Resellers

Resellers are responsible for their own subscribers, for amounts owed on their consolidated billing account, and for any taxes (including withholding tax) applicable to their payments.

6. Service changes & availability

We may modify, maintain, or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, DotMac is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

8. Termination

You may close your account by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate service for breach of these Terms or non-payment.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
