Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 24 June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all DotMac services and the DotMac Self-Care app and portal.
Prohibited activities
- Any unlawful activity, or use that infringes the rights of others.
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or distributing malware.
- Unauthorised access, scanning, or interference with networks, systems, or other users.
- Activity that degrades network performance for others, or circumvents fair-use, data, or speed limits.
- Reselling or sharing the service except under an authorised reseller arrangement.
- Fraudulent payment activity or misrepresentation of identity.
Fair use
Plans may include fair-use thresholds; exceeding them may reduce speeds or require a top-up/upgrade, as described in your plan.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict, or terminate service. We will act proportionately and, where practical, give notice.
